Nuyu is a premium in-studio and mobile spray tanning service based in Vancouver, BC. Founded by Megan Angus, Nuyu was born out of a mission to make self-care more accessible—one flawless airbrush tan at a time.

Megan’s journey is deeply personal. With skin sensitivity and a family history of skin cancer, traditional sunbathing wasn’t an option. From her teens, she relied on self-tanning products, but it wasn’t until her 20s that she discovered the transformative power of a professional spray tan—flawless application, zero damage, and an instant confidence boost. What she didn’t find? A high-end, detail-oriented spray tan experience in Vancouver.

So, she created one.

At Nuyu, we combine luxury, convenience, and expertise—offering both in-studio appointments and mobile services (yes, we come to you). Every tan is custom-blended, quick, and easy—with application times under 30 minutes.

Your Nuyu Appointment: What to Expect

Whether you’re coming to us or we’re coming to you, your Nuyu experience is designed to be seamless, comfortable, and glow-inducing from start to finish.

Mobile Appointments (We Come to You!)

One of our expert spray tan artists will arrive promptly at your location with everything needed for your personalized session. No setup required on your end—we bring a discreet pop-up tent to ensure a clean, private, and mess-free experience in the comfort of your own home.

Studio Appointments (Gastown)

Come visit us at our cozy studio in the Abrams Block building:

🚧 Heads up: There’s ongoing construction in the area. Parking along Cordova and surrounding streets is pay-only and can be tricky during peak times. We recommend budgeting extra time or taking an Uber for added ease.

Here’s What Happens During Your Appointment:

1. Consultation

We’ll discuss your desired shade, how long you can leave the tan on before rinsing, and choose the perfect solution based on your skin tone and goals. Rapid or regular? You’ll leave confident in your glow.

👙 What to wear? Totally up to you—bathing suit, disposable thong, or nude. If you have a 🍌, we kindly ask that you keep it covered. Think ahead about your preferred tan lines!

2. The Tanning Process

We start with a pH-balancing prep spray to neutralize your skin and help the tan develop evenly. Then we apply barrier cream to sensitive areas like palms, nails, elbows, and knees.

Next, we’ll guide you through a few simple poses to ensure even coverage—think inner thighs, underarms, under-bust, and bum. After applying 1–2 coats of our premium plant-based solution, we’ll dry and inspect every inch to ensure no streaks, creases, or missed spots. Touch-ups are done by hand with makeup brushes for an impeccable finish.

💨 We finish with a luxurious drying powder so you can dress comfortably and go about your day mess-free.

3. Aftercare & Payment

Be sure to read the CARE + FAQ section on our website to make the most of your tan.

💳 We accept cash, debit, and all major credit cards. A credit card is required to secure your appointment, and tips for your tan tech are always appreciated—they can be added seamlessly to your card.

⏰ Life happens! We kindly ask for 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes to avoid fees. Late changes or missed appointments will be charged accordingly.
